The following list provides a précis of some of the project areas we have worked on in the past:
Phase I/II geotechnical and environmental investigations relating to the redevelopment of, but not limited to, former gas works, fuel storage depots, foundry's, concrete manufacturing works, farms, paper mills, educational establishments, pottery manufacturers and greenfield sites for residential, commercial and industrial end-use;
Investigation of historic mine workings, shafts, adits and their treatment for commercial and residential redevelopment;
Investigation of former quarries, backfill materials and the positioning of high-walls;
Investigation of dissolution features (in conjunction with third-party geophysics) in Buxton and Ripon;
Groundwater and gas monitoring in relation to contamination associated with off-site migration from landfill sites;
Groundwater DQRA to model the effects of hydrocarbon contamination on controlled waters (recent 2010 project work undertaken in Nottingham);
CLEA (human health protection);
Validation works to assess remediation objectives and compliance with remediation proposals.
